"To Allow Children to Be Naughty" - Benefit Concert of Kapka naděje
On 5 February 2011, Clarion Congress Hotel Prague hosted a benefit concert organized by Kapka naděje (Drop of Hope) endowment fund in support of the current campaign "To allow children to be naughty“.
During the concert seven wishes were fulfilled, wishes of seven children who have won their struggle for life against oncologic diseases. Big music stars, such as Michal David, Dan Hůlka, Petr Kolář, Helena Vondráčková, Markéta Konvičková, Tereza Kerndlová, Petr Bende and Kabát band came to delight the children with their songs, and children could also enjoy meeting with well-known puppet comedy duo Spejbl and Hurvinek or favourite actors from children's TV programs. Probably the greatest surprise was arrival on the scene of two horses with their master, famous actor Václav Vydra, or quadricycle stuntman Jan Holub.
The concert also honoured the deceased Petr Muk, pop singer, and Petr Dodal, director of Kapka naděje, who had supported the fund for many years. The concert was broadcast live by Czech TV.
